The Lincoln Square BID's 18th Annual Meeting will be held at Fordham University at 113 West 60th Street, 12th Floor on May 13, 2015 at 8:15am. The meeting will begin with a complimentary breakfast and we will hear from our three wonderful guest speakers: Father Joseph McShane (pictured left), President of Fordham University; Michael Julian (pictured center), Deputy Commissioner, Personnel of the New York City Police Department; and Honorable Scott Stringer (pictured right), Comptroller, City of New York. We will also be discussing the Lincoln Square BID's Fiscal Year 2016 budget, electing directors to our Board, and reviewing the past year's accomplishments.

Con Edison plans to dig test pits on Thursday, May 6 and Saturday, May 9 in the sidewalk on the north side of West 60th Street between Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues in preparation for locating the new gas regulator station there. The hours of work both days will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This is the question explored in The Dance Goodbye, a documentary inspired by Merrill Ashley's departure from the New York City Ballet as an acclaimed principal dancer. In this new documentary, Douglas/Steinman Productions presents the story of the dancer, not unlike any one of us making a difficult transition, finding their path to a new life, and capturing the poignancy of this journey.

The New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYC DDC) has issued a Weekly Construction Bulletin regarding the installation of trunk water mains along W. 60th Street. The bulletin gives updates on the status of work planned from Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8.
