Lincoln Square is synonymous with culture. After all, the neighborhood is home to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, arguably the world’s finest cultural complex whose tenants include the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the New York City Opera among others.  You’ll find tomorrow’s top virtuosos developing their talents at the nearby Kaufman Center, the Juilliard School and the Professional Children’s School. Lincoln Square also has a branch of the American Folk Art Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design and the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA).

But that’s not all. Beyond our many performing arts institutions and museums, Lincoln Square is home to media powerhouses like ABC and The Walt Disney Company, Time Warner, CNN and WNET.ORG. Visitors to the neighborhood can also wind away the afternoon at the Lincoln Plaza Cinemas or visit the beloved Big Apple Circus (Oct. – Jan.).  And of course, the BID itself provides a free source of culture and entertainment each year with its Summer Concert Series at Richard Tucker Park and Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square, New York City’s largest holiday festival.
